1
Departure from San Francisco to
Madrid, Spain.
Overnight: Transatlantic flight

Arrival at Madrid, Spain

Enjoy a day of walking
through historic Madrid, viewing the Plaza Mayor and learning about
the impact the Inquisition had on the Sephardim, viewing The Prado
Museum and discovering Jewish art in Spain, plus shopping in
downtown Madrid.

3
After breakfast we will take a bus trip to Toledo,
Spain where we will meet and be guided by an expert on Sephardic
Toledo and the history of the Anusim. Toledo was founded
originally by Diaspora Jews when they noticed how the geography
resembled Jerusalem. We will walk "The Bridge of San Martin"
where many Jews lost their life during the Edict of Expulsion in
1492. We will view the chains on the cathedral where
inquisitors hung the "relapsed" conversos. We will see the
restored Sephardic Synagogue that was the center of Sephardic life
for several
generations.
We will return to Madrid
for a classic Spanish dinner under the stars in the Plaza
Mayor.

After breakfast and
shopping leave Madrid for Tel Aviv, Israel. Arrival to
Israel at Ben
Gurion International Airport.
Travel either by train
or bus to the city of Abraham's Seven Wells, Be'er Sheva,
Israel.
Enjoy a welcome
reception at the Sephardim Hope International Center in
Be'er Sheva and dinner after checking into our
hotel.

Day 5
Tour the Negev. Tree planting in Negev. Visit Sde Boker, site of
Ben Gourion’s Tomb and see the famous Ben Gurion University
of the Desert. Drive to Ein-Avdat (site of the prophetic
"Springs in the Desert") and the Mitzpe
Ramon Visitor Center to see the
Ramon Crater. The future of Israel is in the
Negev! Back to
the City of Be’er Sheva & the
wells of Abraham. In the evening we will enjoy a concert by
our own Dona Gracia
Serrano-Fenn.

After breakfast journey to Ashkelon to see the world's
largest desalinazation plant and meet with local rabbis. Meetings
with local Be'er Sheva civic leaders and students from Ben Gurion
University. Rest day & shopping in "Mall of the Negev"
& "The Big".

Today we will 'Go up - Aliyah" to Jerusalem.
Enter the golden city of Jerusalem with
a “Shecheyanu” service from Mt. Scopus.
After going to the Kotel (Western wall) for prayers
and taking the Temple Tunnel Tour we will meet with representatives
of Karen HaYesod (United Jewish Appeal) and go to the Jerusalem
Support Center to take baby clothes and learn of the benevolence
work they do for the new immigrants and the IDF "Lone
Soldiers".

After breakfast we will
meet with Mr. Avihu Cohen to learn of the work he is doing with One
Israel Fund and introduction to Rabbis working with the
Anusim. After touring the Sephardic Synagogue we will meet
with Professor Matilda Sarano and learn more of the history of the
Anusim, Ladino and it's future
implications.
Visit the unique shops
along ancient streets and Roman
Cardo.
The rest of the day will be free time to shop in the "Old
City of Jerusalem"

9
Drive to Tiberias near the Sea of
Galilee & walk in the
footsteps of
'Dona Gracia" Nasi.
Sail across the Sea
of Galilee and learn about the
discovery of an ancient Galilee
fishing boat. After touring the Galil we will go to the "Dona
Gracia Hotel/Museum" (the only hotel & museum of it's kind in
the world). After check-in reception Mr. Tzvi Shiack will give
us a tour and seminar on Dona Gracia Nasi, the Sephardic Anus
heroine of the 16th
century.

Overnight in Tiberias
Day
10
Drive to Safed, center of Jewish Mysticism, and visit &
shop at the art colony and visit the ancient synagogues. Continue to
Gamla where the prophetic raptors of Ezekiel 39 are thriving in the
Nature
Preserve.

Concert & Overnight in Tiberias
Day 11
Back
to Jerusalem for last minute shopping and repacking for departure
back to the USA. Farewell dinner with special guests.
Drive to Ben Gurion Airport and check in to your return flight
(possible overnight at the Mt. Zion hotel before
departure).
